Bring Your Retirement Plan. We’ll Bring Lunch.
The Plan Sponsor Fiduciary Lunch
A private, one-hour working lunch for a small group of employers, focused on the fiduciary and administrative responsibilities you still carry in your company retirement plan.
We walk through common plan deficiencies, who is actually responsible for what, fees and benchmarking, and practical ways an employer can reduce the work and the risk it retains.
The hour
| Time | Topic |
|---|---|
| 12:00–12:05 | Welcome and introductions |
| 12:05–12:15 | Who is actually responsible for your plan? |
| 12:15–12:25 | 3(16), 402(a), 3(38), advisor, recordkeeper and custodian — who does what |
| 12:25–12:35 | The plan deficiencies we see most often |
| 12:35–12:45 | Fees, benchmarking and fiduciary governance |
| 12:45–12:55 | Anonymous examples from the plans in the room |
| 12:55–1:00 | Questions, and an offer of an individual plan review |
Why we ask for your EIN
- Every retirement plan files a public Form 5500 with the Department of Labor.
- Before the session we pull your plan’s filing and prepare a private review of it.
- Nothing about your plan is identified in front of the other companies — examples are anonymized.
- After the session, you receive your own written plan review, whether or not you take a meeting.
What lunch looks like
- Once your plan is confirmed, we send a lunch ordering link with a $30 allowance per attendee, delivery and tip included.
- We ask you to confirm attendance the morning of the session before lunch is ordered.
- Lunch arrives before we start. You eat, we work.
Reserve your seat
Please register with your business email address – registrations from personal email accounts (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook and similar) cannot be verified and will not be seated. Seats are held by company, not by person, and one seat is held per employer. We confirm each registration by email, and we only run the session with plans we have had time to review.
